Information

This Psychedelics 101 symposium focuses on the emerging area of psychedelics quality testing, from preanalytical testing (milling, cryo-milling and sample preparation) and analytical method development to advances in psychedelics testing labs. You will learn about industry partnerships that have been developed to impact the psychedelics market, including leaders from Fritsch USA Milling and Shimadzu Scientific Instruments. Our first two speakers will take a closer look at the development of new analytical testing instrumentation and methods, including co-presenters from Fritsch and Shimadzu. The presentations will focus on optimizing milling conditions and HPLC methods for psychedelic substances and also discuss the development of a ‘psychedelics analyzer’. Our next speaker holds the first DEA manufacturing license for natural psilocybin mushrooms at the Scottsdale Research Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Sue Sisley is a medical doctor actively involved in PTSD and depression clinical trials and she will share her challenges and journey as a medical provider trying to improve patient outcomes through with psychedelics. SRI in conjunction with their 501(c)(3) arm Field to Healed Foundation is completing FDA approved trials which now include psilocybe cubensis mushrooms. Our final speaker represents industry experts at the forefront of psychedelic testing, Rose City Labs, the first licensed psilocybin testing facility in Oregon. Psychedelics experts and novices are welcome and encouraged to attend PSYCHEDELICS 101!
