My Journey as a Women Chemist

“Being your authentic self in your professional life”, I believe this mindset is very important. By applying good strategies, including the self-care strategies, we can build out network and collaboration well, and advance our career. When we are looking for a professional career, we need find the intersection of these three areas: passions, strength, and value. Keep the growth mindset, and continue learn and improve, and believe in that setbacks can become learning opportunities. I will share my journey of being a woman of color, a mom of two, an immigrant with culture navigation challenge, and a curious chemist enjoying analytical thinking and science for problem solving. I have also transitioned from academy to industry. In my journey, there are multiple setbacks, but when I look back, I would say these setbacks are my new learning opportunities and made me grow stronger.
