Luck has nothing to do with it. Make your luck on the way to making a great career.

Over the course of a nearly 30 year career in the pharmaceutical industry more than once I’ve heard people say I got lucky or was in the right place at the right time. Luck, chance, good fortune or whatever you may want to call it may play a part in your career but I firmly believe we make our own luck. In this lecture I’ll talk about how I’ve “made my own luck” happen to accelerate a career that has allowed me to achieve many of my goals. We need to own our careers and take action if we want to grow and thrive. I’ll provide tips from my mentors, discuss some mistakes I’ve made and lessons I learned along the way to help you make your own luck as well.
