Information

High-throughput experimentation (HTE) is an increasing important tool in the pharmaceutical industry for the discovery and development of new medicines over the last decades. Broadly, HTE can be defined as the workflow of running multiple (e.g., 96) reactions in parallel. And the progress of this field has been largely relying on the advancement of high-throughput analytical technologies, among which, LC-MS-based high-throughput methods are probably the most widely used. In this presentation, we will cover the various modes of LC-MS used for high-throughput analysis of HTE samples. Challenges and opportunities associated with these techniques for high-throughput analysis will be discussed as well. Lastly, being data-rich experiments, HTE also present challenges for data processing and utilization that will be touched in the talk as well.
