Workshop
Instrumentation & Nanoscience
Information
This 90-minute workshop will address issues and ideas for making sample analysis using gas chromatography and GC-mass spectrometry more sustainable. This interactive session will work through the different parts of GC & MS instruments, different consumables and different method parameters identifying, discussing and summarising what can be addressed and where improvements can be made, no matter how small or large. Regardless of what you analyse, what instrument you use or which industry you are in you will leave with ideas and a ‘to do’ list of things to check and what to work on. There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion, questions and problems to be solved. This workshop is applicable to all manufacturers and models of instrumentation. Please note that this isn’t a training session and participants should have a good knowledge of GC or GC-MS techniques.
