Information

With the implementation of the TNI-2 requirements CA-ELAP accreditation, many labs are wrestling with some of the new requirements. This along with other regulations, both current and upcoming, have made laboratory operations even more challenging. As the number and complexity of regulations in the water/wastewater industry increase, treatment plant operations, compliance and Laboratory Supervisors can be challenged to meet regulatory reporting deadlines or issue alerts. As a result, LIMs is no longer a choice but a necessity for effective operations. LIMs gives organizations the ability to automate sample monitoring, track, compile and analyze Laboratory results, QA/QC, import contract lab data. The presentation will demonstrate how IEUA used LIMs to automate some of these tasks.
