Information

Scientists are no longer spending the majority of their time in the laboratory with instruments or test tubes. They are expected to conduct research, present findings, collect data, write reports, and investigate deviations. Therefore, they play a critical role in the company and need to be excellent communicators to make sure their colleagues, teams, and clients understand the importance of their work and their results. However, communication classes in school do not prepare scientists for the workforce. This course will discuss different practices to improve oral and written communication skills online as well as in person.
